BC Shortcut Dimension 1 Code issue

Posted on by 63

We recently moved to BC 22 on Prem. We are noticing a weird issue. In Purchase Line and FA GL journal, we have to enter shortcut dimension ( 2, 3,4,5,6,7,8) before shortcut dimension 1 . If we enter Shortcut dim 1 before other shortcut dimensions, somehow it does not recognize shortcut 1 dimension. It says that the shortcut dimension 1 is missing. Do we have any solution for this? I am not sure what we are doing wrong. It is so strange. It works in the Sandbox but not in the production. We don't have any issue with Shortcut dimension 2 (Which is Global Dimension 2). The order we enter has become critical now.

Here is the error:
The Property code (shortcut dimension 1) is missing in line 10000. We have entered the value. When we reenter it again, it recognizes the value

Hi, It is recommended to debug it to see what the problem is. This does not seem to be a standard problem.

    Hope this helps as well.
    Thanks.

It happens in the G/L journal too. We don’t use dimensions for items. No one has complained in Sales. I will check the Sales invoice. I checked the code while entering shortcut 1 code and later entering shortcut 6 code, and it does not recognize that shortcut 1 exists. I tried to debug the other way around. It recognizes the shortcut dim 1.

We have the same version installed on the Sandbox too. It works in the Sandbox. I wish we had this issue in the Sandbox.

    Hi
If the problem is only displayed in these 2 places, it is possible that it is a BUG.
Do you have the latest version of version 22 CUs installed? Here are the latest versions, surely some are updated.
