Rebuilding MR datamart, what is optimal log file size to use?

In rebuilding the datamart db, I am running out of log space. The log drive is currently at 350Gb in size, the AX trans db is a little over 1tb. The integration stops due to the "The transaction log for database 'ManagementReporter_DataMart' is full due to 'ACTIVE_TRANSACTION'.

Once initial integration is finished the log file shrinks and is in the 100s of MB in size.

Is there any way to determine how to size the log drive or workarounds this issue on initial integration?

HI Jerry,

I don't know what size would be required, but do you have auto DB growth allowed?
