Accounting date in Project accounting

Hi,

I created purchase requisition in project accounting with accounting date of July 29.

This purchase requisition was approved dated August 3.

When I check the associated PO, the accounting date is Aug 3 which is the PR approval date.

Just want to ask if this is the design of project accounting to update the accounting date in PO based on PR approval date?

    Hi Mary,


    It appears the accounting date on the PO is actually based on the system date when the PR is released. I just tested this as follows:

    1. Created PR on 8/5 with accounting date of 8/1.
    2. Approved PR on 8/5.
    3. Changed system date to 8/7.
    4. Released PR to PO.
    5. The Accounting Date on the PO is 8/7.
