Hello!

Anyone here who have developed both for D365 F&O and Business Central?
Based on your experience, how would you compare the customization efforts of both systems ?

Background : I have developed for AX 4.0/2009 in the past and currently doing D365 F&O. Just for exposure, I am considering to find opportunity for Business Central as well.
I have the same question (0)

Developing in D365 F&O vs Business Central
Customization in D365 F&O often involves writing extensive code, using X++ (the programming language for Dynamics AX), and leveraging the Application Object Tree (AOT) for development but Customization in Business Central is often achieved through extensions using AL (the programming language for Business Central) and the Visual Studio Code development environment.
In addition, their target customers make different customization efforts based on your need. May be in some scenarios you will be limited in the BC.
