ReportWe're looking for ideas for analytic reporting. For example, we want a way to select at runtime:
a given GL account (or range of accounts)
specific dimension values we use 6-7 dimensions regularly)
G/L date range
Standard BC reports don't seem to let us do this. Do you just download all of your GL transactions to excel and do it there? The problem we have with that is that we'd like to let end users (department managers) run the query or report themselves. And we want some security applied so they can only see the accounts/dimensions that they should have access to. Any ideas or tools we should look at?
