Hello

If there a way to block the ability for an approver to delegate their approvals to another approver that is below them in the hierarchy out of the box?

Hi ,

I don't think so there is any direct configuration but may be if you are using Signing limit approval process then may be try something in workflow as condition

Hi Indiguna,

There is no option out of the box to restrict the user who will be the delegate based on the position hierarchy. Note that all history, also the delegation, is stored in the workflow history for tracking purposes.
