Hi folks,
I'm running RMS v2 + Hotfix 40 and using gift cards offered by our credit card processor, Shift4.
Shift4 is able to return the gift card balance when authorizing gift card transactions.
I wonder if there is a special macro to display the gift card balance on the sales receipt XML template?

Shift4's addon would need to supply the balance as a session variable. Then that variable would need to be placed on the layout.
I don't know if shift4 is supplying that information to the variable or only showing it a pop dialog box. All the 3rd party payment addons that I know don't supply gift card balances back to the system, they only show in their own popup box or window.
So basically, that is I don't think this can be done currently.
