Hey,

I wanted to find out if there is a functionality in Dynamics #65 F&O that will allow system admin to mimic other user security permissions. I know this capability was available before but I am having a hard time finding it now. Any help on this would be great.

Hey Madhuri,

So to expand on what I was saying I am looking for a way to impersonate another user in D365 without going in creating a dummy user and copying specific user security roles to the dummy user and login in that way. I was able to do this in an earlier version of D365 where i would just choose the user to impersonate in D365 and my screen would mimic based on the chosen user security roles. But i cant seem to find that functionality anymore.

Within Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (aka CRM), there's no such functionality to impersonate another user in the user interface.

It might be possible in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, but not in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement
