Costing Sheet Setup - How to Inactive Rate at Costing Sheet

Hello,

I am facing an issue in Costing Sheet setup.

I mistakenly configured a rate to be allocated to "All" instead of a specific Item. I added a new one but the old one is still taken up by the system in production order. How I can get rid of that and delete the old one?

Suggestions will be appreciated for this issue.

you can't delete it, all you can do is:

1.) Move to a new costing version.

2.) Create a newer / more specific cost price record.

    Thank you Colby,

Yes I did both as you suggested but the old one is still taking effect while generating production order as mentioned in above screen shots. My question was, how I can I get rid of the old rate? I don't want that old rate of $6 to use in calculations.

what dates are on your production order?  Did you re-schedule it to something after the new rate is active?

    Hi Colby,

    Let me further clarify:

As mentioned on the old rate, that was generic (applied for all products) as specific item was not mentioned on "Relation" column where we normally put specific Item number. I was using that $6 rate for all semi-finished and finished products. but now I don't want to use that rate to all products but to only a specific product (SUG-001) and I opened new rate $2 by mentioning "SUG-001" with that new rate.

But the old rate is still populating on all semi-finished and finished products even the production orders dates are later after opening the new rate. How can I get rid from the old rate $6 not to be populated on all new production orders. Hope, you can get my issue now.
