Where does line 18 of 1094C come from?

ON the 1094 C line 18 is the number of forms being filed. I can't get this to match up with the actually number of 1095's I have to print. Where does this figure come from or what can I do to change it? I have already tried running some of the suggested scripts so that I don't print 1095's for all employees (just those that actually have amounts) but the number on the 1094 is still wrong.

    Hello Chris,

I did not find an answer for this. The customer is going to look at populating the form manually outside of GP. They had around ~800 employees in 2015, and only ~200 of those actually have values on their 1095C. But the 1094 is coming up with 4000+ forms on line 18...

Have you found any answers on this? This is a new one to me.

And to be clear, the number of 1095-C records that GP is printing at this point are correct, but the line 18 number of the transmittal (1094-C) is still incorrect?
