Seeking Guidance on Generating Single Report Trial Balance for FY 2022

Hey everyone!

I am seeking assistance with a specific issue related to generating a trial balance report for FY 2022. We have a requirement to verify the main account codes for all our individual departments as of 31st December 2022. The opening balances were transferred to the new departments on 31st December 2021.

For verification purposes, we currently need to refer to two different tabs to verify the closing balances as of 31st December 2022, as the system does not generate the trial balance of two different fiscal years in a single report. My idea was to try and generating a customized report via the management reporter tool or to run both trial balances for the different Fiscal Years and then to SUM them in excel?

Could anyone guide us on how we can derive the trial balance in a single report for FY 2022? Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I think , right decision is to use Management reporter. On that one you are able to create 2 columns for each year and even additional column to compare.
