Business Document Management - Cannot Edit templates

hello!
 
we recently upgraded to 10.0.40 and I can no longer edit ER templates via Business Document Management workspace. I have sys admin security and have created access for Sys admins within the following:

    I'm also having this issue - we're on 10.0.40.
     
    I was in the middle of updating a template on our UAT environment and it crashed out on me.
     
    Now I can see the template in draft, but when I try to undo changes or publish, I'm getting the message 'The active template version is currently being edited'.
     
    Or when I am in Electronic Reporting Configurations and I set the Change Status to 'Complete' I get the message 'The active version of the template is being currently edited in Business document management. The operation cancelled'.
     
    Any ideas on how I can take the template out of this active status?

    Hi Alireza, 
     
    Since upgrading to 10.0.40, we have lost the ability to click EDIT on the Business Document Workspace - like we used to before this version, see below:
     
    This report is in Draft, so i should be able to edit the template:
     
     
    With Published one i should be able to click Edit and open a new version of that template:

    However i have followed your blog for https://dynfotech.com/2024/08/05/business-documents-part-3/ so will try the edit the template using Electronic reporting instead. 
     
    But if you have any information on the above, please let us know.

    Hi, Can you provide more information to repro the issue?
    Once I open the "Configurator of access permissions", I get following message: 
    Usage of access permissions for the 'Business documents' area is disabled. To enable it, select the 'Apply permissions to access Business document templates for editing' and turn on the 'Enabled' option.

    I am experiencing the same, i can no longer edit a template which has been published. To create a new version etc. 
     
    Does anyone know why this could be? 
     
    Any assistance is much appreciated
