Form Editor in PowerApps portal doesn't work when PCF on form

I'm using a PCF in a form in D365 and the form editor doesn't like it.
I get this when I load the form:

Nothing happens when I click 'Technical Details'

The form editor in the old UI in Advanced Settings works fine, so I can still work with the form.

Is this a thing in general with PCF's in the new form designer, or is this something specific to this PCF (https://pcf.gallery/simple-text-control/)?

    There is an issue on PowerApps portal now, workaround is using the old UI.
