Hi friends ,
i have already items in my item master but wen i try to make a purchase order through purchase order entry ,after entrign all the fields wen i try to insert item number i cannot c the item description its UOM can u pla guide me were to look for this i am sure about items exit in item master but it is not displaying in purchase order entry.

Having items created in inventory is just one of the few steps required to create a purchase order. From what you are describing, it would seem to me that you are far from having gone through the GP manuals or a training class. Shouldn't you start from there first? The GP manuals have gotten a lot better over the years when it comes to the basic "here is the screen, click here, go there", but you need to consider the overall business processes that you are trying to automate as the system will need to be configured accordingly.
