GP 10 Security Question

Posted on by 165

I have set up a test database within GP 10.  When I try to give users access to the database via User Access Setup, I receive a message "The user could not be added to one or more databases".  This message pops up when I try to put a check mark in the box next to the new database.  What part of security am I missing?

Thanks.

    Dear bmichelon,

The user is most probably incorrectly added to the database in the SQL level, to solve this, just open SQL Enterprise Manager, navigate the company database and delete the user from there, It should work.

Let me know if you any more help in this issue.

    Regards,

    Mohammad Daoud
