How to add Products with many combinations and price list

Hi All,

We have a "Translation" product with a Language combination like EN to FR, EN to ES, etc. Each combination has its own price.

While adding products in Quotes, I would like to know the best way to configure or implement the functionality for this scenario.

Hi PKB,

In this case, each combination is an independent prodcut with a separate product ID, and they are in the same product family.

First create a product family. If you select the Unit Group, Default Price List and Decimals Supported for the product family, then all its products will automatically inherit these attributes.

Then create products, select the parent to the family Translation.

New property.



Then new property option set item. After that select default value. Save and close.



New price list item. Set amount.



Do the same for each Language combination, each combination is a product in the same family, and the property is this combination option.

The problem here is If I have a Translation Product Family with 180 language combinations(Products) like EN-FR, EN-ES along with their price, etc.

While Adding Product line items in Quote, is there any best way to select a Language combination and get the respective price?

Hi PKB,

I was wondering how did you make the products.

If you make the products like in my last answner, each Language combination has price list item, then you just need search and select the product in the Quote line form, the price will be obtained into the Quote Line.

So there is no doubt in my opinion.

You mean, you split EN-FR into two products, EN and FR? Then add these two products to Quote, right?
