Lately I've often noticed that the Microsoft Warehouse Management app on our Zebra TC22 seems to cause the screen to flicker as soon as several things have been scanned.
Is this already a known problem or is there a solution?
I can confirm that the Zebra Device is supportet because it is literally one of the preview pictures on the play store. Also this flickering is not only appearing on one Version of the Firmware. I testet it on a Version that came out in October 2023, November 2023 and December 2023.
Also the Devices are only doing this type of flickering in the Warehouse Management app. I know that because I testet scanning multiple Barcodes inside another app.
Hi, I checked the official documentation of new functions and changes in the application of warehouse management mobile applications. I didn't see the problem you mentioned. It mentioned the problem of the collapse of the program caused by the barcode scan, but if you have updated it to the latest version, you should not have this problem. In addition, you can search in the known problems of LCS, but I have not found it. You may need to open a ticket to Microsoft to check whether there is any configuration option in the warehouse management application that may affect the display behavior,or it is a bug. Make sure that you are using a compatible version of the Microsoft Warehouse Management app with the firmware version on your Zebra TC22. Sometimes, compatibility issues can lead to unexpected behavior. Have you tried other brands or other models of mobile phones, and this problem has occurred? It is possible that the system is not suitable for a certain brand or model of mobile phone
In that case, I would suggest creating an incident for Microsoft Support. They might be able to find the root cause or acknowledge if there is a bug that needs to be solved.
Yes, i have verified that it is not the phone itself, as the flickering only appears when scanning more than one Barcode in the Warehousing App. I also force updated them to the newest Software Version. In total it is currently appearing on 10 out of 10 Devices.
Have you verified if the device itself is healthy? Maybe there is an issue with the hardware? Do you have one or more devices? In case you have more, do you have the issue on all of these devices?
