After re-deploying tier 2 environment, products not showing on B2B site when logged in

Hello,

We are currently experiencing an issue on our eCommerce B2B site where users are unable to see any products in the catalogs when they are signed in. When the user logs out, they can see all the products. We are experiencing this issue after a re-deployment of our tier 2 environment.

There seems to be a reference to a phantom catalog id in the URL of the eCommerce site when the user logs in. We have re-published the catalogs, re-applied the catalogs to all users in the customer hierarchies, run full and incremental data pushes and nothing seems to resolve the issue.

We have also opened a ticket with Microsoft for guidance and the support rep has 'reported this issue to product group as it this seems to be caching issue'. Any guidance/advice on how to move forward if you've experienced this before would be ideal here, even if it's a temporary work around. This is preventing us from being able to do work on the implementation.

I have the same question (0)

When you go to my Account page, are you able to see your organization details? Sometimes, azure B2C logon not linked to the correct AR customer can create this issue. Also, make sure that you have enabled the "Local Identity Record and Commerce Customer automatic linking." feature in feature management.

    Hello Dennis,

    I'll suggest to do :

    1. Delete the CSU you have in your TIER2
    2. Recreate the CSU
    3. Re-push in FULL your data
    4. Re-map your e-Commerce Website to this new CSU

Or also if it's really a problem on the e-Commerce only.

    1. Push your website to another TIER2 as temp workaround (use the copy site job feature) that will save all the work you have done
    2. Delete the e-commerce website in the TIER2 in which you have the problem right now
    3. Re-deploy a blank e-commerce
    4. Re-push the website that you have copied as temp workaround on the step 1.

If applicable, remember also to re-deploy if needed your extension of Commerce/CSU or e-Commerce package extension.

I know it will take some times on your side, but which help you not waiting support (which for your case could also normally help you on that)

My side, I also had this kind of problem in PROD too, Support help us to clear some cache on the website, the catalog ID was not mapped correctly. (with or without signin)

The root cause was on the feature : copy site (from TIER2 to PROD) : the base URL of the CSU was not mapped correctly after the copy into PROD ; and therefore nothing was displayed anymore in terms of products to show. Whereas the published product index was still there and data too. So clearly a "plumbing problem"

Hey everyone. This behavior was caused by a Microsoft bug. The product team has recognized it as a bug. Response from MSFT 'PG team confirmed The fix is available on 9.42.23038.12, 9.41.23038.11, 9.40.23038.13.'

We needed to upgrade the CSU, republish the catalogs, and do a full push of data and that fixed the issue.

    Details for issue 785095 (dynamics.com)
