Hi
Is it possible to export/copy a view to a group of people and at the same time make that their default view? I know how to do the first part just not sure if its possible to then make it their default.
HI BB1983
"So if I wanted it to be a view just for a select view I would either have to find a role they all had in common or create a new role just for the personalization?"
This depends on the scenarios and number of views. It would be insane to create 100 security roles just for copying the personalization and have the view marked as standard. Finding a role in common for sure makes sense.
Hi BB1983
Yes, That's right. System allows you to copy publish the views to specific role instead of specific user. In example, you can personalize sales order view after removing unnecessary fields and publish it to roles "Salesperson" with default view.
Please let us know if this helps.
Thanks,

Hi BB1983
You can publish the views to multiple person using the following process:
You can publish this view and also make it default for multiple user having same roles or roles selected at this time.

Hi bb1983,
An addition to the reply from Alireza. When publishing the saved views, you can make it the default view for the users whereas if you copy to users, you can't.
Hi bb1983,
You can share a saved view in two ways: by either copying it to individual users or publishing it to security roles.
You can export and copy views from System administration > Setup > Personalization
