Closing and Adjustment Ledger Posting

HI,

I am trying to find where are the settings for closing and adjustment to which ledger the adjustments are posted to.

Am I right in looking into the 'item groups' - ' stock expenditure profit/loss ' as per below under 'stock'

or is there a setting somewhere else please?

    If you are going to adjust , yes those are the posting profiles. But if you are going to run closure,  the  system will use ıts own GL Accounts. For example,  If Cogs needs to be adjusted,  System will use Cogs account.

    Thanks so much for your quick reply.

    In our case it was a COGS account called Inventory Adjustment and now we are looking into posting it to COGS directly rather than seperate account. So I changed the item group posting account to COGS and I am running a C A A to check if the adjustments will now be posted to COGS rather than Inv Adj A/C.
