I have created some data entities and using chrome extension "Table Browser Caller for D365FO" for testing purposes, but some of my entities are not showing there. I check my Data Management > Data Entities, entities were there. I don`t change any properties while creating new entities. Thanks for your help
Hi Atiq,
The extension is a third party tool. According to the documentation, it is a pre-defines list with tables: chrome.google.com/.../nahbldacmaibopfiiaoboloegpobpccn
It is possible with a workaround to add your custom tables. But probably, it might miss new standard objects as well.
I updated the title of your question because it's about a third party product (the Chrome extension) and not D365FO.
The table/view list is not automatically updated, you must provide a list of your custom tables/views manually.
You can find this information in the Reviews section of the add-ons home page: chrome.google.com/.../nahbldacmaibopfiiaoboloegpobpccn (look for answers to question "Great tool, however, I don't seem to be able to see custom tables. Any ideas?").
Hi Nikolaos, Tables are not being updated automatically but the data entities are updated with reference to your instance.
Ah, you are right.
Then I guess you need to ask from the developers of the extension.
Ah, one thing that you could check. I assume that the add-in is using this service for updating the list:
https://[yourD365URL]/data/
Do you see your entity in that list?
Also please check following properties in your entity:
IsPublic should be Yes
PublicCollectionName and PublicEntityName should be unique
Yes, I can see my public collection names of entities in that list & properties are set as suggested.
Then everything looks good to me in D365 side - but I don't know how the third party solution is implemented, so you need to ask them.
I do not know what should I call this. I have figured out the solution. This extension do not refresh entities on page refresh but there is a small refresh icon at top left corner , after your D365 Url so you should have to press it to get your latest entities. Thank you all for your support.
Thanks for the update, Atiq. I have marked your answer as verified answer, assuming you don't need further support on this question.
