Long time for Double opt-in to be send

Is it just me or does it really take a really long time before double opt-in confirmations are being sent?

With different test contacts I am waiting up till 2-3 hours before one of the email addresses receives a confirmation. With other marketing email tools I am receiving them in minutes....

The power of subscriptions, for example newsletters, is in speed. If someone subscribes to my newsletter they need to receive their double opt-in straight away. When the sending is delayed, the subscription rate will drastically drop... Any tips? Am I the only one with this problem?

Hi Bas,

Normally, double opt-in emails should be send within a few minutes (up to 30 minutes).

Do you still observe such long waiting times as 2-3 hours?

If so, could you please create a support ticket and provide the details?
