We (thought) we successfully configured our emailing details (profile, mailboxes, approved mailboxes/users, ran tests and successfully sent/received test messages).
BUT
whenever our users create and send individual emails from CRM the messages remain in a pending send status.
Environment:
Microsoft CRM 2015 on-premise running in an Azure Virtual Machine
Microsoft Exchange Online
using an account to impersonate users when sending messages through Exchange (server side sync)
We have:
verified VM can see Exchange Online
Verified profile, mailbox, approves, more … all sees ok and passes the test.
