Autonumber Fixed Asset per asset group via DIEF template in AX365

There is no number sequence for autonumbering of new FA in parameters,

because it's set up per group.

DIEF template has auto-numbering set up for FA number field. The field itself is empty in import.

Nevertheless a new number is not coming from a number sequence from FA group (see error below).

    Hi,

    Can you only test in a demo system if the upload works if you enter a number sequence in the parameters?

    Or do you receive the same error message in this case?

    Dear Ludwig,

    I've asses to demo system. But which scenario do you propose to retest?

    Scenario 1, which I put in the header includes no number sequence in the parameters and number 1 created by system from somewhere.

    Scenario 2, which I've tested earlier includes number sequence in the parameters which is used despite specific number sequence on the FA group.

    Dear Ludwig,

    I've found a solution. Auto-generated parameter should not be activated for a FixedAssetNumber field.

    Then all is working as expected and the number is generated based on specific number sequence of a FA group.
