Hello,
We are migrating from CRM2013 onpremise to Dynamics365 using Kingswaysoft.
In CRM2013 a system admin could enable or disable a User. For Dynamics365 I do not have access to the Admin group with which we will add and remove Users but I just want to check something.
If a SystemUser is disabled in D365 by taking them out of the AD group, will they appear, and more importantly remain in Dynamics365 as a Disabled User so that I will still be able to reconcile activities to the (SystemUser)activity party even after they have been disabled? - The way I can in CRM2013.
For example if I import an email from crm2013 which has SystemUser John Smith as the email sender and then John Smith is taken out of the Admin group in D365 and his licence is reassigned, will I still be able to open the specific email record in D365 and click on User "John Smith" - and see his User record - with "Disabled" status? - And therefore still be able to query his User record.
I would imagine this will be the case but because I am not in a position to immediately test it I just wanted to be sure that it is worth retaining the reference to deleted Users in the activity party fields of my activities import.
Many thanks for any assistance.
