Hi There,

I have below two questions.

1. Where can i see the relationship between D365 tables (i.e. all tables used to save data, fields in the table and the relationships between tables)?

2. I want to see all vouchers posted in D365. Which table should I access to get that data? (I am actually, trying to put data to PowerBi so that I could put them to graphical format and I need Debit and credit in two separate lines.)

Hi Din93,

There is no data model explained in the documentation for Dynamics 365. For the previous version, there was some information shared by Microsoft:

Implementing the Account and Financial Dimensions Framework (White paper) | Microsoft Docs

Microsoft did share ERD schemas which were not updated after AX 2012 R2. A copy of the data model at that time is still accessible on the site from Alex Meyer

Note that the information will give some insights, but might be changed in Dynamics 365.

Posted vouchers can be found in the tables GeneralJournalEntry and GeneraJournalAccountEntry.

Andre, I tried giving the table name "GeneraJournalAccountEntry" hoping I'll be able to access the data.

But, I am getting the below error. Do you know how I could fix this?

This is not the first time I got this error when trying to access tables.

Hi,

you are not able to reach tables directly, try to use entities instead. I assume that this screen is from power bi, try to remove text after /data, and power bi will show you all entities on the next screens. you can use these, if these do not help, you can customize new entities as well.

Hi.

You can actually reach tables directly using the following in your URL after the ".com/"

?mi=SysTableBrowser&TableName=ENTERTABLENAMEHERE&cmp=ENTERCOMPANYNAMEHERE&limitednav=true&lng=en-us

But like it was suggested, you should have a look at using data entities instead.

probably this entity is not public. try to check it out on aot. If it is not public, you can copy this entity and make it public.
