Invalid Operation Exception : Service already has an implementation

Hello All,

We have a custom WebResource html page which acts as a dashboard with a few tiles which link to the tree data, master data views etc. After upgrading our CRM to 2016 this page is not working. When i click on the tile instead of taking me to the respective view in the CRM , it throws a Microsoft Dynamics Error Dialog with following details :

Hi Pradeep Bhat,

You need to check Url of view is correct or not, please capture the ViewUrl when you take a action and pass to the browser for testing.

Hi Pham, Thanks for your reply. I checked the Url and its correct. I tested it in the browser and its opening the view.

For some of the links am getting the below error as well :

Hi Pradeep,

In this case, you should check your custom button to open the web resource, please debug it and trace the problem in your custom code. Try to catch up the message in your custom code.

As your question, it had worked in CRM 2015, just not work after you upgrade to CRM 2016, maybe some old code has been supported in CRM 2016, just check again about the method to call this view.

Hi Pradeep,

Did you find the cause of this issue? It is happening to us as well. No customized code. It is breaking in global.ashx.
