product lookup pulling from wrong price list

Ok this is an odd one;

On all my product screens we're noticing the same issue: Whatever price list you select at the header level (opportunity, quote, order) it seems to no longer have an impact on the related 'product screen'. This means that whenever I go to add a product to that entity, it only pulls from a single price list regardless of which one I've selected. now we do have some javascript customizations which auto populate unit of measure, and lookup the product ID as well as pull the quantity on hand from GP via scribe so that could be impacting things, but our developer assures me it's not his code.

Any thoughts on this one? Driving me kinda nuts.

thanks again,

~Brian

    Brian,

    I'm not sure why the price lists are not applying correctly...are you selecting the price list before you add the products or changing the price list after the products are added?

    If you are changing them after the products are added I think you have to click on the "Recalculate Opportunity/Order/Quote" button for it to apply.

    It happens either when I create a new quote, or when I attempt to modify an old one. I tried the recalculate trick to no avail. Any other ideas?

    Other than check to make sure that the products have different prices based on the different price lists, I got nothing.

    Was this functionality working at some point and now it doesn't work?

    yes, it worked prior to friday. the odd thing is that this is some kind of combined price list because it would appear that I can search for things in either price list and they will show up. I think it's time to open a case with MS.

    thanks again Gus.

    I agree with you Brian...Open up a ticket and let them figure it out.

    Good Luck!
