SSRS Reports not working on UAT. But working on DEV and PROD environments.

Posted on by 60

We had 3 users, working on CRM 2013, working on UAT  testing evinorment. The interesting thing is that 1 user can run ssrs reports, where as 2 others cannot run  reports. But all of us can run reports on DEV environment.  Reports works on DEV and PROD without any problems, but 1 can run reports on UAT, but not others.

Attached image is for one of the user and other user cannot get any errors and not executing

Thank you. We might have on different server.

But we all 3 have same permissions. System Admins and Super Users. I can run reports, but not other 2.

    Hi

It is not a permission error, the error message seems to indicate that your report is trying to access a CRM instance that is disabled. Do you have your UAT and DEV on different servers?

I would check the data source and see if it's pointing to the right CRM database.

It could be the users default organization is disabled.  Check if there are any disabled Orgs in that environment.  You may need to enable it or delete it altogether to remove the link between them.  And yes, it's s stupid bug that's been around since forever.
