Skipping Product receipt number entry on Posting product receipts in AX

Hi Everyone,

I need help in making the product receipt field on Posting Product receipt form from mandatory to optional, not sure if it is possible? As there are certain business situations where product receipt is entered for labor or service items where product receipt do not exists so entering a number is holding the product receipts process back.

    Hi Navneet,

    There is dependency on having this field filled. Microsoft did make this field mandatory on purpose. If you don't have receipt numbers you could customize it to automatically fill this field with e.g. help of a number sequence.

    When they receive the service enter the date in the receipt note number as it is done to say you have received the service.
