Pick is registered need now order is cancelled in advance warehousing

We have a scenario as we are using advanced warehousing

When we make sale order>create warehouse shipment>creat pick.

Lets suppose we have 2 articles in pick. We pick 2 and picked is registered.

Now on warehouse shipment we see that one article was not in good shape and we remove its. How to drop this item from shipments and then on sale order after posting the shipment because we already picked that item.

What we currently do
If we picked that item and we drop is physical we delete those line from ware house shipment and post remaining shipment and then delete that spasific line from sale order as well to make our sale invoice inlined with product we delivered.

Question is when we delete that shipment line where did that article go does its return back to its pick bin. ?

I guess its remain in the shipment and how did we know in shipment that this spasific article is deleted sale line and how can we move that from shipment bin.
