Does Newtonsoft.Json included in online server?

I added Newtonsoft.Json 13.0.1 package to my plugin project and used it in my code to deal with Json.

I remember before I need to merge the dll, but today it works without merging.

Is there anything I missed? Is there any official document about this?

My environment version is 9.2.23061.00186 with 2023 release wave 1 installed.

I am not aware of official documentation, but yes, Newtonsoft.Json is available for plugins from quite a time, I don't know the exact version.

I think Newtonsoft is now a so called "Dependent assembly":

This was introduced with 2022 release wave 1:
