
I tried to restore my sandbox instance (Online v9) to the latest backup. After an hour I got an error saying "An error occurred while preparing your instance". Currently, the Sandbox instance is not accessible to all users and the Existing backups are not visible.
I have raised a ticket in the admin.dynamics.com and also called Office 365 support to escalate my ticket. It's been more than 3 days and no one has contacted me at all.
Please advise what can to do next.

Once we faced the similar issue. The restore operation may made your Sandbox Instance disabled. You may raise a ticket in Admin Center to call D365 support engineer to help you contact BE Team re-enable your Instance and help you restore the Instance to the specified backup.
