Dynamics 365 V9 Web Resource URL Generated with double slash

Hi All.

Anyone else experiencing problems with the URL generated by Dynamics 365 when creating a new web resource?

I assume this is a bug introduced/unchecked. Currently the generated URL looks like https://<CRM Server>//WebResources/<web resource name>, but in usage (out of box code especially), I can see errors message complaining "<URL>/%7B<random number>%7D/WebResources/<web resource name>.js?ver=548988773</URL>"

Is this a known bug?

Kind Regards,

Jaimie

    Hi Jaimie,

both types of paths are handled by a routing mechanism and should work.

    Hi Jaimie,

This behavior was also on previous versions, and your should not have any issues with this when accessing the web resources.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Jaimie ,

When you are getting error ?

Additional "/" does not have any impact  or issue you browse or take any reference with  "//" inside any web resource or form. I am not sure why MS did  this but it was three in earlier version as well , this might have some internal dependency inside CRM.

So until an unless if its cause any issue we can not say its a bug. Could you please share  what exactly the issue you are facing having "//" in the URL , if its really serious issue then you may raise a ticket to MS.
