My email was functioning properly until a few days ago. Now, I'm encountering the following error, even though I'm using an app password.

SMTP error in D365 Business Central:

Probably you need to check something here:

Check your username or password; it must be correct.

Check your mail server is compatible with TLS or STARTTLS

If your mail server is O365, check your Exchange Online security settings; you'll probably need to enable legacy SMTP. (Opt in to the Exchange Online endpoint for legacy TLS clients using SMTP AUTH | Microsoft Learn)
