I am getting an error while i am trying to transfer an employee to a different position and assigning a new compensation. Interestingly, I get this error with some positions while I am able to proceed without it with other positions. I can't seem to find the root cause of it but i am sure my setup is correct.
It would be helpful if someone can provide context to why this error might be occurring for random instances.
The error i am getting is "Different plan type on compensation plan and level type on related job." As shown below, the compensation plan type is "Step" and the level under job is also "Step". I can see the plan in a drop down menu during the transfer but at that point i get the error.
The levels defined in the Job
There is denial of employee.
Because c runs d.
If there is no command to transfer an employee, there is denial which rules over might. When you transfer an employee, you must follow the rule of going back. If he is returned back, when he comes back he will do worse since command is c.
