Total receipts for a purchase order: enquiry, list page?

I have a single-line purchase order against which there have been multiple product receipts. I'd like to see the total quantity received, and the only ways I can think of to do this are:
  1. Open the Product receipt journal page (either from the Purchase order page, or direct & then filter)
  2. Open the Lines tab for each journal and sum the Received amount manually
Or
  1. Export the Product receipt journal data entity via DMF
  2. Sum the values in Excel
I'd like to give the purchase ledger users the ability to do this themselves, and they don't have DMF access. Can anyone please point me to a standard enquiry or list page that I'm missing?

    Hi :@Rich
I am a bit confused, I would try with a few questions, if you do not mind please.
    1) is your problem , take takes to "Export in excel"
    2) is your problem not allowing them to be in DMF (which has it's own security , totally manageable)
    3) what is the average number of lines in your typical/average purchase order ?
    4) How many users we are talking about? (those who work on the Purchase Orders)

    Hi
If i understand you correct, you are trying to display total received amount to the users without having to give them full access to the system. You can customize the purchase order to display the received amount using display method or add a form info part.

    Hi,
I understand that you want to see the total quantity received, you can write a display method to calculate the total qty received and display it in the form.

    Hi Rich,

You can use the menu item = PurchLine.
In D365 URL, after mi=, you put "PurchLine".
You can add as many columns you required, in the received column, you will get "received" quantity sum.

    Hi Rich,

If you open the purchase order, then on the main action menu bar, you can go to General > (Related information} Line quantity. That opens a form where you can see the total ordered, received, invoiced and open quantities.

    Hi Rick,

I would recommend using the Open Purchase Order line Inquiry, where you can filter purchase orders as needed. In this form, you will see two key fields: Delivery Remainder and Purchase Quantity. The Purchase Quantity represents the total ordered, while the Delivery Remainder shows the remaining balance yet to be received.

By comparing these two fields, you can determine the received quantity as:
Received Quantity = Purchase Quantity – Delivery Remainder

Although the form does not directly provide the total received quantity, you can easily calculate it. This can be done either manually within the form or by exporting the data to Excel, where you can apply the formula in a new column to calculate the received quantity for each line.

If you find this answer helpful, please consider verifying the answer. 👍

    Regards,

    Hi Syed,

Using the formula to calculate received quantity will not hold true every time. In case we reduced the deliver remainder directly, it cannot be considered as received quality.
As I have given the idea to use Menuitem Purchline, it will give all the required column including received quantity.

    Neeraj

Thanks all. @André Arnaud de Calavon's suggestion wins as the one I'm most comfortable providing to users, since it doesn't involve extensions, URL manipulation or extra calculations (even grid calculations).
