Had to upgrade RMS register. Don't have 25 character product code, what are my options please...
Hi rmz and thank you Mark, Kevin and Rick for assisting,
Here is what I provided the last time a customer submitted a support incident with Microsoft.
Unfortunately, there is not a way to obtain the License Key from the terminal.
The license key would be on a PID card that was provided when the software was installed.
In checking, we are unable to access the License keys directly through our systems; and when looking for keys on customer accounts, it states “Please refer to PID card for key.”
In addition, it states:
“Note: Microsoft security standards no longer allow license/registration key information to be sent through email. The recipient of the link will require access to CustomerSource/PartnerSource Business Center to obtain the related key(s)."
Here is a link:

The CustomerSource (Center) link is at the top right after you log in:
Hopefully this helps.

Here is basically the same info with more detail, as supplied by Mark H and Kevin Antosh, from an old thread here: community.dynamics.com/.../needs-tech-review-what-to-do-when-you-need-a-microsoft-dynamics-retail-management-system-rms-or-pos-2009-pos-product-key-or-when-you-have-problems-activating-the-product-key
Like Mark said: 1) Contact the place that your purchased RMS from, 2) Log in to your CustomerSource Account if you are current on RMS software maintenance (also know as BRAP), 3) Call Microsoft Dynamics at 888-477-7877, and 4) Check your email or find the original project packaging as RMS license keys could have originally been emailed to you or may have been on a card or on the CD Sleeve that came in the packaging.
Try to track down your RMS partner, or if you have access to the Dynamics Partnersource, you might be able to look it up (I'm not sure if that is even available anymore). You might be able to find a system someone is selling on ebay. Since it is asking for the product key make sure it is v2.0.
If you want to upgrade to RMH, which I would recommend because you will find that RMS is having increasing issues on Windows 10 contact me and I can help with that. mark @ hegstrom.biz
