Hi,
What happens during batch jobs that are on "Executing" status then gets caught up on "end time" of a batch server for an hour?
Will the batch jobs also be affected if we restart AOS during the end time(2 hr for maintenance)

This makes sense. Thank you, Also at times I've experienced that it is on executing state but there doesn't seem to be any progress.. as I can't see if there are any running queries in the background. Is there a sure way to monitor if a batch job is still executing?
Please click "View tasks" on the batch job - most likely it has many tasks, and not all of them were started before the batch server schedule ended. Then the main batch job will stay in Executing status.
Hi Nikolaos,
For most cases it doesnt seem to finish executing. Do you have any idea why that is?
The batch servers stop picking up new batch jobs or tasks for processing after the End time. But if a task is executing, it will be completed.
It's best to wait until nothing is Executing before restarting AOS.
