Ordering Customer registration keys for GP 2015 in PartnerSource

I am a new GP partner.  I am attempting to order my customer who has an active account, his GP2015 registration keys.  I understand that the partner has to order these?  If so, where do I do this function in partnersource?

Thx

    Hi  Trez,

As a partner you have access to the section 'Support' in Partner Source and you should be able to place a new registration key request by opening a 'New Operation Support Request'.. to get some assistance if you're not sure on how to do it.

The regular ordering process goes under 'Ordering' >> 'Place an Order'

    Hope this helps.

PS: there is also a 'chat now' option in Partner Source in case you can't find yourself around the site.

If this client is on GP 2010 or sooner you will need to place a License Transition order in order to see the GP 2015 registration keys. Using the chat window as Beat suggests will get you where you need to be.

First of all, login to Partner Source from the site https://mbs.microsoft.com/partnersource

Click on the Partner Source Business Centre link.

From this page (below) enter the Customer Name in the search box, click enter and the details for that customer are available.

Select the customer and then depending on the version that the customer is registered for, or has current licenses for, those registration keys would then be found attached to the customer as both Beat and Richard have discribed.

The version that is currently installed on the client site is not always the version that the client is entitled to have installed.  Some client may only have GP2010 or even GP10 installed, but have current support and are entitled to GP2015, but for some technical reason, they have not moved forward.

Review what version the client is running before wasting time hunting for keys to a wrong version.

    Hope this helps
