Revenue recognition on a daily or weekly basis in D365 F&O

HI,

I think I am stuck with a limitation in revenue recognition. It looks like revenue could only be realized on a monthly or periodic basis in D365 FO. The month could be either the calendar month of a period setup in GL. I have a company (in insurance industry) which would like to recognize revenue on a daily basis and I am not able to setup a schedule which could get the job done. Is there anyway I can setup the schedule on a daily basis and if so what would be that setup? Whatever, I am not able to setup is working on a monthly basis. I am referring to this window in D365.

Hi,

do you mean to process revenue recognition daily? and as a result, create daily revenue transactions? Can you try "fiscal period by days" type of recognition basis? for this purpose, you have to creat a new calender that have daily periods :) its a bit weird but it should work.
