Can we re-authenticate user credentials in CRM

Hi,

Can we re-authenticate user credentials in CRM using plugin/custom action ?

Scenario:

1. We are having "Break The Glass" button on entity form.

2. On click of button user should be able to re-authenticate his/her credentials.

Can we achieve this one in MS CRM ? as I believe there is no such way as far as I know about CRM functionality. Just want to confirm......

The only way I can think to do this is on the client side, via a button that redirects the user to the Office 365 Sign Out page - i.e. the same link as the 'Sign out button' in the top right. It might be possible to create a web resource to first open a new window to sign out, then another to go back to the login page
