Hallo there

I attempted to set up the VAT Declaration Excel (Germany) following the official Microsoft documentation:
VAT declaration Germany – Microsoft Learn However, the report still returns no data. I dont get any error messages...

Tax declaration model mapping: 171.347
VAT Declaration Excel (DE): 101.31.24

There are enough bookings for those sales tax codes:

Can someone help me to solve this problem. Atleas I can creat a vat-report.

Hi,

Some things work a bit weird here to be honest. We had similar issues.

Please try the following:

In line 4, delete the Transaction classifier and try again

Create a new line, also with tax code 66 but put in Purchase Credit note as Transaction classifier. Make sure to have that as line 5, sometimes, also the line number can make a difference.

Hi,

I am also struggling with this configuration, but for Austria not for Germany. It seem that everything was technically correct, otherwise a validation error would be thrown.

I would suggest two things:

1. In the line with code 066 could you remove the transaction classifier and leave it empty.

2. Have you posted the VAT already? If so then the result is 0 and you wont see if the ER is correct or not.

Check your transactions by picking the sales tax code and go to posted sales tax

Filter within the same period that you run your ER configuration and check if the sum is not 0.

In the following case, the tax is already posted, so the sum is 0, although there are transactions for the tax code.

As I mentioned there was no error message.
I fallowed the steps one bye one.

What Information do you need? I mentioned the set-ups, the version, the booking, anything else which would help you?

Hi,

I'm going to take a few wild guesses here. Did you follow each and every step step in the Microsoft article? Did you perhaps get any error messages when doing the setup from the article? It's challenging to troubleshoot your report with so little information. Perhaps you can share more information?
