Missing Asset is a Location parameter toggle and is used to indicate whether the Asset is missing from the physical location where the asset sits in. This is a toggle control and has implications on reports and is used only for tracking purposes. If the asset is a sub-asset to a parent asset then this toggle will help find sub-assets that are missing.
The Missing Asset toggle marks a fixed asset as missing. When this toggle is activated, it indicates that the actual asset corresponding to the fixed asset record is currently not found or cannot be verified. This may be due to various reasons such as loss etc.
Hi, Enabling the "Missing Assets" toggle helps identify assets that no longer physically exist or account for within the organization. As Andre said, it acts as a filter. Best Regards, Hana
You can use this field to indicate if an asset is lost, but could show up one day. The field itself is not printed on reports. You can use it for filtering purposes or when exporting data use it in e.g. a Power BI report.
