Unable to connect to the Home Page Metrics URL. Contact your administrator.

Hi All,

I need help. I have successfully setup SRS 2008 with GP2010. However, I am running into issues when I now try to setup GP2010 so that it shows the SRS 2008 reports in my home page.

I. My report server and report manager links are all working fine. I am able to deploy reports from BI Development Studio and also manage the links and reports from the Report Manager link. But when I use all these links on the Reporting Tool Setup window within GP, they are not accepted. I get the message "The Report Server URL is not valid."

Report Server URL: http://localhost/ReportServer

Report Manager URL: http://localhost/Reports

II. So what I did was follow GP Help's recommended defaults. However, my Metrics just goes blank and when I drill down to edit it in the Metrics Details window, it shows the message "Unable to connect to the Home Page Metrics URL. Contact your administrator."

Report Server URL: http://localhost/ReportServer/ReportService2005.asmx

Report Manager URL: http://localhost/ReportServer/ReportService.aspx

Any recommendation please? I am using Reporting Services 2008 Native mode.
