POP10300 -POPTYPE = 0

We have a large multicompany install of GP 2010 (sp1) with one international company connecting remotely using Terminal Services to get into GP. The connection is not always the best and I assume the problem below is one result...

One company has 52 records in the POP10300 table with a POPTYPE of 0 (prettty sure that zero is an invalid value) and none of the fields, other than POPRCTNM, having any value.

If I join in the POP10310 and/or POP10500 tables, the number of rows grows, but these other tables show values and dollar amounts. 114 records with POP10310, 872 records with both.

The GP users noticed discrepancies with looking at the GP screen "Purchasing Item Receipts" and POs are affected

How can I go about fixing this issue?

I would restore my live company into my test company environment and run check link to see if this will resolve the issue.  (Microsoft Dynamics GP menu >> Maintenance >> Check Links). The series would be purchasing and the Logical Tables would be Purchasing Transactions.

Now I just took over GP maintenance here, so I am still getting familiar with the configuration.

    RCT Loop?

It didn't help and I believe I know why.  On the Purchase Order Processing Setup screen Receipts was set for RCTXXXX.

It appears that the RCT maxed out in Sept and started over from the beginning. It was already up into the 3000's at RCT3137.

Yesterday I added two more digits for RCTXXXXXX going forward, but what does GP do if the RCT number exists from a prvious loop?
