Contact icons for different contact records are different...why?

I have noticed that when I look at a contact lookup field, I can see different icons next to a contact. Please see below. What do those icons mean?

Hello,

Considering a lookup field, the last icon is associated to User records. The Contact icon looks like the second one in your list. Could you please provide more details and let me know if your lookup field is an OOB one and the relationships configured between the involved entities.

I was able to tell what these icons meant. When I clicked on the magnifying glass icon, then clicked on the link in the top of the window that says view # records, it will then show you what the icons are tied to.
