Vendor Payment Due Date Calculation Query

Hello community members,

We have a query regarding the due date calculation for vendor payments in our D365 FO. Our standard practice is to set a due date of 30 days for vendors. Here's the situation:

1. Invoice Raised: 1st July 2023
2. Invoice Booked: 15th July 2023

Could someone please clarify from which date the due date will be calculated for this particular payment? Is it from the date the invoice was raised (1st July) or from the date it was booked (15th July)?

Also, We want to have the flexibility to select the due date calculation based on the either Invoice raised date or Invoice booked date.

Can someone please guide me how to have this setup in D365 FO.

Hi,

Depending on the problem you described, it seems that you can set up your own payment plan, choosing the day you want on the due date, the path is Accounts payable > Payment setup > Payment schedule:
