an item with the same key has already been added, but there are not duplicate fields in the query - SSRS

Hi Experts,

I've been having an issue where I keep getting the error "an item with the same key has already been added" when I try to add a query with HCMWorker Table as datasource in my dataset for a SSRS report.

I've looked up this error online and people were saying it is due to duplicate fields generated by the query, but there are no duplicate fields in the query. Can any one help me out to solve this issue please.

I am using a data provider class and a temp table so there is no way the column name can be duplicated. but still I am getting the same error.

I found that the issue occurs when I add the field person in the query, noting that the table used in the query is HCMWorker and the dynamic fields property set as No. I am able to add other fields except Person in the query but facing the same error when joining other data sources in the same query.

    any workarounds ?

    Hi Blue Wang,

Thanks for your response. It keeps giving me error with both YES or NO as dynamic fields property.

    Hi Sir,

How about your "Dynamics Fields" property in your Query?
