Controlling the visibility of RM statement document rows.

Posted on by 135

Hello,

Is it possible to hide certain documents within an RM statement? (This statement is being generated using a customized version of the default "RM Statement On Blank Paper" report.)

For example, I don't want any payment document rows to be shown within the body of the statement.

I do have a calculated field that sums up all of the payment document amounts, to show a single total payment value. So I don't want this calculation to be affected, as well.

It's just the visibility of the documents that I'd like to be able to control.

Is this possible? If so, how would it be done?

Thanks,
A.P.

    Hi,

1.)  Create a new calculated field in Report Writer.  It'll be a Conditional Expression with a result type of integer.

    Expression:  RM_Statements_TRX_TEMP.RMDocumentType-all  =  9

    True:  0

    False:  1

2.)  Then in the report layout, select "Tools - Section Options".

3.)  Mark to suppress the body based on your newly calculated field.

    Thanks,
    Justin
